Amber Wang

Whenever I am free, I go to a coffee shop just to see what is going on in the world. I find myself a seat where I can observe people coming and going. As I watch, I create my own stories from the little things I notice. The girl dressed in her Lululemon outfit with a messy bun on the top of her head is coming in after her pilates workout session to get breakfast. Ahh… she must be a regular because she orders right away without looking at the menu. The irritated barista over by the counter has been secretly rolling his eyes for the fifth time in a roll because that distracted teenage girl, who has been texting her friends to gossip about that one cute guy in her class since she walks in, is asking for way too many adjustments in her drink. There are so many stories I can come up with when I combine the little details I discover with my imagination. To me, observations and imagination is the key to creativity.

My name is Amber Wang and I am a graphic designer who recently graduated from ArtCenter College of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with Honors. I primarily, but not limited to, work in the fields of packaging, brand identity, print, and interactive design.
